Monkey Park.
Monkey Park is an environmental refuge that rescues wild animals that have been confiscated by governmental agencies. These animals receive specialized care focused on their recovery and eventual integration back to their natural habits. For several reasons, some animals cannot be set free. Monkey Park offers them a home with the best possible living conditions. This situation has turned out to be a plus for environmental education.
Monkey Park is located in the town of Portegolpe, Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, a humid area that offers a high level of biological diversity. It is located about 2 km east of the gas station outside of Huacus.
ATV Tours

Zip Line
The zip line tour near Surfside is called Cartagena Canopy Tour. It is about 20 minutes from the house on the Monkey Trail road.
The tour has 10 cables with 11 platforms, the final cable leads directly into the center, making it the final platform, here you will be greeted with drinks, (water, juice, or beer) and a souvenir.
All platforms are made of metal; they are designed and built with highest standard materials to provide the best quality and safety for everyone.
Cartagena Canopy Tour is 1600 meters in total; on the tour you will encounter many species of trees, vines, reptiles, mammals and birds such as: long tail manakin, trogons, fly catcher, tiger heron.
