Directions to Costa Blue from Liberia Airport

Your starting point is where the airport exit intersects the main highway - Highway 21. Turn RIGHT out of the airport (you are heading west) and set your mileage indicator at 0. Go about 19.9 km to Belen. (1 km is .62 of a mile)

At Belen turn RIGHT onto Highway 155 heading for Huacas.

The trip from Belen to Huacas is 25 km.

When you get to Huacas there is a "Y" in the road. Take the RIGHT FORK. [the left fork goes to Tamarindo] Go about .6 km through Huacas [that's .6 km not 6 km] and look for the turn off to Flamingo on the right hand side of the road. Turn RIGHT and go toward Flamingo.

The trip from the point where you turn right to your next turn at the Potrero turnoff is about 8.7 km. Follow the signs toward Flamingo. You will pass through the town of Brasilito.

After about 8.7 km there is another "Y" in the road. Turn RIGHT toward Potrero. You will leave the paved road and go onto a dirt road.

Next you will see the ocean on your left. You will go over a small one lane bridge and then pass the Surfside Market on your right. Mariposa street is the 2nd right turn after the Surfside Market. Its about 1.8 km from the Potrero turnoff to Mariposa Street. There is a small stone monument saying "Mariposa" but it is hard to see.

Turn RIGHT on Mariposa. Go down Mariposa and the house is the last house on the right behind the wrought iron fence.

The house does not have a street address. No houses in Costa Rica have street addresses.
